Student Safety

All students must walk on the sidewalks before and after school. The Belleville Police Department will take action against any pedestrian who walks upon a roadway when a sidewalk is provided for them.

Please help to maintain the safety of our students; do not drop your children/student off in the middle of the street.

To report suspected child abuse call 1-877-NJABUSE (1-877-652-2873). This is a toll-free 24-hour, seven-day-a-week hotline.

Please be ready with the following information:

1. Name of the child.

2. Age of the child.

3. School and grade of the child/student.

4. Name and address of the child's/student's parent's)/guardian's), if available.

5. A description of the child's/student's condition, including any available information concerning current or previous injuries, abuse, or maltreatment.

6. Any other pertinent information that you believe may be relevant with respect to the suspected abuse/neglect.
