Pamela Stoffers is currently the school psychologist and case manager for Belleville Elementary School #4. Along with the teachers and related service providers, Ms. Stoffers conducts IEP meetings and collaborates with staff to educate students who are eligible for special education in the least restrictive environment. Ms. Stoffers also works on the Child Study Teams at Schools #8 and #10, and is the therapeutic counselor for classified students at School #8. Prior to working at the elementary level, Ms. Stoffers served as the case manager and therapeutic counselor for the district's elementary and high school behavior disabilities programs.
Ms. Stoffers received her K-12 Social Studies Teaching Certification from the College of St. Elizabeth. Although she enjoyed teaching, she enjoyed working more individually with students with special needs. Ms. Stoffers received her MA in Educational Psychology and her Professional Diploma in School Psychology from New Jersey City University. In addition to being a NJ State Certified School Psychologist, Ms. Stoffers is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Ms. Stoffers prides herself on helping create a positive school climate and working collaboratively with educators, students, and families to meet the needs of the individual student.
