The Belleville Police Department is once again partnering with the Board of Education to bring our Belleville residents grades 6-12 a FREE SELF-DEFENSE & FIRST AID/CPR CLASS! This class will include information on risk reduction, risk avoidance as well as instruction on a number of realistic hands-on techniques and will provide attendees with the knowledge to make decisions about safety and resistance. In addition, our attendees will also learn basic live saving first-aid techniques and CPR instruction. This course will be taught at the new state of the art Belleville Indoor Training Facility by certified Belleville Police instructors who specialize in self-defense tactics and first-aid. Hello Everyone, We will be holding our 2nd annual district-wide "Soup-er Bowl Canned Food Drive" starting this Thursday, February 1st. This community-focused endeavor will help to feed those in need by gathering canned food items that our local food pantries can use to stock their shelves. This food drive will run from Thursday, February 1st, through Friday, February 9th. (Please see the attached flyer for full details.) As a thank you to all for donating canned food items, we will be holding a no cost "District-Wide Super Bowl Dress Down Day" on Friday, February 9th.

We cordially invite you to our Halloween-themed Open Gym event scheduled for October 30th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This occasion will include an assortment of thrilling games, scavenger hunts, giveaways, and delectable treats. We extend a gracious welcome to our esteemed customers; however, we kindly request your adherence to the following GUIDELINES: the event prohibits the use of masks, sharp objects, costume accessories as well as bottles or containers filled with any form of liquid. Join us in the spirit of eerie fun as we prepare for Halloween! This event is open to families of all ages, and we eagerly anticipate your presence at our Open Gym gathering.

The Belleville Police Department & Belleville Board of Education invites Belleville residents ages 18 and older to participate in a FREE women-only self defense class. This class will offer basic self-defense techniques that can provide protection in the event of an emergency. No experience is necessary. The class will include educational, instructional and practical exercises that can be performed to protect against predators. Courtesy will be given to first time attendees.
